SHITIDHAR PEAK
Also known as the “White Peak” it is one of the best high-altitude treks which does not ask you to be a pro trekker. Located at a height of 4600 mt this climb gives you mesmerising views of the lesser mountains of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges. Traversing through the popular Solang Valley this trekking can be stretched to 13 days and is ideal for those who are ardent nature lovers cum adventurers and live for its beauty. With a length of 37 km it comes in the category of a difficult trek and combined with its high altitude is an offbeat trek anyway.
MIYAR VALLEY
With a maximum elevation of 13100 ft and a trek distance of 60 km, this is relatively a moderate trek. Located in the remote region of Lahaul mostly hidden across the Rohtang Pass trekking in Miyar valley is a rare opportunity for most trekkers. So consider yourself lucky if you ever get a chance. Not everyone gets a chance to take a route that alternates between remote mountain valleys, quaint villages and flower beds dominated by the overwhelming presence of Himalayan Orchids. This whole trek is about its remote stunning landscape. Also, the serene Buddhist culture and the harmony in villages will live you mesmerized.
DEO TIBBA BASE CAMP
A mountain in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayan Mountains at a height of 6,001 metres Deo Tibba is a popular trekking destination. Believed to be a gathering place for gods Deo (gods) tibia ( hill) according to local legends the dome-shaped peak of Deo Tibba is the place where the gods sit.
Considered a moderate to difficult level trek the climbers have to pass through difficult terrains like steep ice passes and rock fall areas. With a high altitude of 4171m and a trekking distance of 54 km, this trek can be covered in 6 days.
KHANPARI TIBBA TREK
One of the easiest and most beautiful treks around Manali the Khanpari Tibba Trek is perfect for beginners. With some of the most scenic and thrilling treks and spectacular views of the majestic Himalayas, it can be a paradise for nature lovers. With an alluring height of 13100 feet, this trek starts above the famous Hadimba Temple and gives you the most amazing views of Manali and Kullu as you ascend. Located on the Pir Panjal Range and the extreme west of Manali, Khanpari Tibba is all about spectacular views of the Himalayan region, a thick forest of Cedar and Oak and wildflowers all around.
KALIHANI PASS TREK
Towering at an altitude of 48000 m the Kalihani Pass Trek offers a mesmerising sight of the Deo Tibba, Hanuman Tibba, and Pir Panjal ranges along with several other peaks. The gushing streams, dense forests, undulating meadows and Himalayan animals are the main highlights of the trek. Also known as Senghor Jot it is the highest pass in the route of Kullu valley to the bara Banghal area of Kangra valley. Situated at the intersection of Kullu, Kangra and Chamba Valleys this trek can give you a unique experience of being on top with herds of sheep and goats if visited early in the season.
GHEPAN GHAT
Starting from one of the remotest villages of Lahaul, Sissu and often called the Hidden Lake it is a neon blue glacial lake enough to enchant anyone immediately. Also called Ghepan Ghat Trek this lake is situated at an altitude of 4140 m and is a better alternative to more crowded treks. Taking not more than 12 and a half hours to complete it's a rough yet beautiful trek that involves difficult but enjoyable river crossings.
